Biography
Librarians are a cinematic folk-rock jazz quartet based across Washington state’s Puget Sound, creating dreamy, thoughtful music that explores transformation and loss, the turbulence of our times, collective and individual identity, and feelings that have no names. Singer and guitarist Carly James interprets the poetic songwriting of trumpeter Joel Ricci, supported by slide guitarist Nakos Marker and bassist Kevin Nelson. Together, they focus on living, breathing songs that connect emotionally with audiences, reminding us of our shared humanity and the fragility of life.
